| MUC13

Mucin 13(MUC13) is a member of family of secreted and cell surface glycoproteins expressed by ductal and glandular epithelial tissues. MUC13 was expressed on the cell surface and underwent N- and O-glycosylation. MUC13 was cleaved internally to produce an N-terminal mucin subunit, called the alpha subunit, and a C-terminal beta subunit that included the transmembrane region. Beta subunits appeared to undergo homodimerization that was dependent on intrachain disulfide bonds.

| Recovery

The recovery of Human MUC13 spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.

| Linearity

Samples were spiked with high concentrations of Human MUC13 and diluted with Universal Diluent to produce samples with values within the range of the assay.
